I have tried this issue and it is caused by selected encoding of language. If one uses utf-8 with db set to utf-8 all works as expected.
So we have to investigate this better and have to recode all script-editors in next versions. Also we have to change handling of encoding in the whole core. For now i close this issue and add a new one to backlog.
